Schedule
June 27, 2024 – Five Ways to Use Email More Effectively as a Marketing Tool
Presented by Tim Ito and Boney Pandya of Marketing Nice Guys
Of all the marketing channels employed by small-to-midsize law practices, email might be the most underutilized. In this engaging and topical webinar, we will cover how to use email and the capabilities of today’s marketing automation systems more effectively. Attendees will walk away understanding:
- How to set up marketing automations (and make them more effective).
- Establishing an email cadence/frequency.
- What to write about: Ideas for email content.
- Opens, Clicks, Visits: The core fundamentals of maximizing email engagement.
- Designing an email that drives your goals and measuring success.
At the end, we will give away a signed copy of our new book, Small Business Digital Marketing Handbook (2022, MNG Press).
This program is a joint production of the Law Practice Management Community and Practice Management Advisory Service of the D.C. Bar.
July 18, 2024 – Improving Hiring Success with Emotional Intelligence Screening
Presented by Ellen Freedman of Freedman Consulting
This two-hour Zoom seminar will explain common law firm hiring errors, and how they relate directly to a failure to include EQ in the selection and hiring process. You will be guided through the best practices of hiring, orientation, and retention.
This fast-paced session will examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and success, both professionally and personally, for attorneys and firms. It will reveal the impact that emotional intelligence has on effective communication, conflict resolution, retention, elevation decisions, and firm culture. These “soft skill” concepts will provide a great deal of food for introspective thought about personal improvement as well.
This program is a joint production of the Law Practice Management Community and Practice Management Advisory Service of the D.C. Bar.
